Who do you plan to vote for for mayor in November?
Hi neighbors,
A full events list will go out tomorrow. Today I was coordinating with some community members via Facebook groups and Instagram to get some air purifiers to Boyle Heights and East LA. So far we have two donations of brand new air purifiers and a bevy of people have signed up to do deliveries.

And in case any of you are handy and free in the next few days:
There is a group who will be working out of Underdog Bookstore in Monrovia putting together Corsi-Rosenthal Boxes for people in East LA and Boyle Heights who are on waiting lists for commercial air purifiers or have somehow fallen through the bureaucratic cracks.
They need volunteers who can help assemble the boxes Wednesday through Friday (June 24-25-26) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Underdog Bookstore, 312 S. Myrtle Ave, Monrovia.
Here’s at least one fun event until the full list goes out tomorrow:
Wednesday June 24
Board Game Night at Rock Coffee House, 4808 Townsend Ave; every Wednesday from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Friday June 26
American Semiquincentennial (250th) Celebration in the Park
Bring lawn chairs, beach towels, and a picnic for a fun evening in the park with live entertainment and a live drone show after sundown.
Eagle Rock Recreation Center, 1100 Eagle Vista Drive. Fri. June 26, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
